Verizon reps what do you think?

Hey you guys that work for Verizon Wireless(including myself)...how many people you think we are going to get from this merger from Cingular and AT&T? I get a few calls a day to port there number over....
Lets hope we can take over this number one spot again by end of next year.

I think we'll get a few. Mostly disgruntled AT&T customers, I would say. I think we'll be in the #2 spot till at least the end of 2Q05. Not that that's necessarily a bad thing.

I think you guys are gonna give the house away this Holiday season. Good luck on net profits after the fact. Meanwhile, the buzz is out: Cingular, largest network, #1 company, etc etc etc. Its gonna be tough for you guys.

I think it is bizarre that there are about a million Bluetooth cars going on the road each year now and Verizon doesn't have a clue as to when they will have a BT phone capable of supporting any of them.

You should also be asking how many people will leave, or want to leave, as a result of the merger. When I was an AT&T customer, I had to wait a minimum of 10 minutes just to talk to someone. Yep, you might have merged, but your customer service still blows!!! 🤣
