Has anyone here made a switch from the older TDMA at AT&T to Verizon? How does the service compare? How is the unlimited web browsing, and is the text, picture and video messaging really "unlimited" for the premium package?
I am looking at the LG env phone I hear there is a new one on the way I hope it is out before the Feb 08 TDMA shutdown at AT&T.
Thanks.

I find it hard to believe that for someone who is "still" on TDMA all of a sudden starts asking about Unlimited Web Browsing, texts and the whole nine yards... It's like me (130lbs) all of a sudden going to the gym asking how to get the body of a bodybuilder by December....

Anyway, whether you switch to the REE or to even Sprint... You'll get much more than on your outdated TDMA phone.

Recent infomercials say that rapid bodybuilding IS possible. Actually, I am ready to upgrade and would like to know if Verizon has better web browsing and messaging than AT&T. I read that Verizon has a 20 message per month limit on voicemail. Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks

@0 messages per month? No, I have personally done considerably more, been selling vzw for 7 years and have never heard of such a thing.

there is no message limit on voicemail, use it all you want.

the network is much better with Verizon wireless then AT&T in most areas and definantly if you are on TDMA still.

The unlimited messaging is totally unlimited to any wireless number in the US

The Env is a great phone.

This coming from someone who works for Vz? Im sorry but you are wrong. Vz has a limit of 20 voicemails (Basic Voicemail) I think that goes up to 40 with the Enhanced Voicemail feature which is like $1.99 a month

The other day, I helped some woman clean out her mailbox that had messages left over from 2005. 20 messages?

This is somewhat correct.

It is not that you can only RECEIVE 20 voicemails per month. You can only STORE / SAVE 20 voicemails at a time.

With basic voicemail you have a storage limit of 20 messages. You can double that to a 40 message storage capacity by paying a monthly fee for Enhanced Voicemail. The enhanced feature also gives you extended message times as well as a few other nifty features.
