Phonezoo.com issues with Verizon ?
I have been using phonezoo.com to get ringers, lately I have noticed that it takes hours for me to get texts from Phonezoo as to where before I got them right away from phonezoo.
My wife has the same problem as do a couple other people I know, all of which use Verizon. A friend who uses Cingular has no problem at all receiving them.
Has anyone else heard of this issue?

There has been a lot of delays with the delivery of SMTP traffic from Verizon, not sure if they are down a server or if they are prioritizing message delivery. But my company uses SMTP for paging and have seen significant delays to our vtext devices. Kind of curious, but we have worked very hard to prove or dis-prove it is on our infrastructure, so far we are seeing delays in picking up messages or messages back that certain vzw servers are down. That I would bet is the reason for it....but who knows, maybe they are beginning to block select message traffic?

Messages (especially ones to/from vtext addresses) are having delivery issues lately. VZW is aware of it and trying to fix it.

Sorry to sound like a noob, but whats is this phonezoo site anyway. How much are the ringers on that site?

Why not just catch the ringers from cache and push them to the phone? It's free. Don't you have a cable?

Well, I tried downloading and sending them to my phone via [email protected] and they are delayed. In fact, not one has come thru in 12 hours.
Something is really messed up w/ their delivery servers, or they dramatically delaying any content not being forwarded from within their network.
My kids recorded a sound via their phone, were able to send it to each other quickly as a pic attachment, but stuff coming from Phonezoo or via external email is being stopped/delayed.
