new lg vx8350
For those of you that have the new lg vx8350, does it have the animation wallpapers like the vx8300 did?(For example the growing tree.) I'm sorry đ¤ for the dumb question, but I'm curious.

I've only gotten to play with it for a little while in the store, but I seem to remember it having those. I'm not 110% sure, though. If you have the phone you can find out yourself, just go to set Wallpaper and look under 'Fun Animations'.

Thank you. I don't have either one yet, trying to decide. They both have everything I need in a cell. Got to play with my friends 8300 and I really liked the animations, hate paying for them. No store in my area has the 8350's yet, they keep telling me Oct. đĄ

October? That's silly. They're probably not even looking it up. The 8350 has been available in my neck of the woods (California) for almost 2 weeks now.

SystemShock, will you let me know about the animations when you get your phones? Sorry to be a pain, just don't want to wait two weeks for the 8350, then decide to get the 8300 and find out they're all gone.

Got the 8350 Sunday. It has two animations (Flash wallpapers) preloaded, 'Stars' and 'Nature'.
'Stars' is the same as one of the animations on the 8300, 'Nature' is a new one that shows flowers turning to autumn leaves.
They're nice enough, but the real percentage would be in getting some really cool Flash wallpapers on the phone, like these:

(Presumably they'd work on the 8300 or the 8350, but you'd have to do some workaround...

Bought VX3850 on 9/9/07 at Verizon store. Has animations etc. Nice phone. Good value. Using LG bluetooth earpiece that works very well with phone.

Excellent reception/signal-strength. Vibrate mode is sufficient to notice. Screen seems clear/sharp. It's light weight and slips into my pocket w/o problem. Using an LG BT earphone that works great. The earphone and 8350 both charge from same converter.
