Blackberry 8130 (pearl 2)
Is it coming to Verizon? If so any ideas as to when? I have the 8703 and am thinking about going to the 8830, but I would take the Pearl 2 over the 8830 because of the size.
Also I have one more question if anyone cares. I used the XV6700 for longer than I care to think about, and I loved all the little things that windows mobile has to offer i.e. Music, Video, File viewing, Internet Explorer, and camera. What I did not like about the XV6700 is all the problems it had like flight mode, constant resets, phone freezing up, and I was used to the instant email that the Blackberrys offer that you cannot have with the windows mobile. So that brings me to my question which is this, since it seems that the blackberry does all of these things is t...

Windows Mobile does offer instant push email like a BlackBerry. It's through ActiveSync. It's for Exchange servers.

You don't have to have a Black berry device to have instant E-mail access. Verizon offers Wireless Sync www45.wirelesssync.vzw.com that provides PUSH E-mail (Instant Access) for non Black berry phones. I have the New Motorola Q and had the old Q before that, I have used wireless sync from Verizon for a couple of years and love it.

But isnt there a cost to this on top of your data plan if you go with a windows based phone?
I thought it was $19.99 plus your cost of the data/phone plan. With a blackberry you don't extra for that service

If you get the 10 MB or unlimited data plan, WirelessSync is free/included. However, if you use Exchange server, go with ActiveSync. WirelessSync is very unreliable.

The Blackberry Pearl 2 is coming to Verizon in November. I've already played around with it and it's nice and all... but definitely too small for me. It's kinda useless in the grand scheme of sending e-mails and the like. I personally see that it's aimed at the teens who have to have the "cool" things.
