Can't extend contract without using NE2?

In August I bought a RARZ2 and extended my contract for 2 years. The NE2 meter said 10/7/2007 so I did not take that option online.

Now my NE2 meter is pushed out another 2 years. Does the NE2 get gobbled up everytime you extend a contract?

The NE2 gets reset when you take ANY subsidy on a phone.

Full retail won't reset it.

So take a mail in rebate, get a free phone or add a line and ZAP there goes your NE2 unless you wait until eligible date?

Adding A Line, upgrading another line, or changing your plan does not effect your New Every Two.

If you purchased online, and decided to purcahse a phone at Verizon's discounted rates B4 your actual upgrade date, you foreit the New Every Two.

It would have been best to wait.
