return v9 for something different or wait?
I searched but found limited results to my question I am about to propose: I am going to return my 2nd v9 because of the usual Motorola QC issues (had similar problems when I bought the v3c when it came out), so my newbie question is: ANY GOOD PHONES coming out by the end of this year that are "slim clamshell" phones?? My father has the Samsung 540u, and I am really tempted to get it, but it seems "old" to me. Any phones coming out soon that are similar to that one? Thanks ladies and gents.

the samsung gleam (u700) is coming out soon hopefully, its on the rebate sheet that expires on 10/3/07 so that's usually a good sign, although the moto z6tv and v9m have been on there for quite a while..either way the gleam is a pretty nice looking phone check out phonearena.com they have some pics of it up there, i'm at work otherwise i'd post the full link...stupid sonicwall. other than that you might check out some phones currently selling like the lgvx8700...i've always had good luck with samsungs and lg
