Not to be rude, SystemShock, but we already have a forum well a few for this. I think you should just keep it in those. AT&T and other companies don’t care if T-mobile buys out Suncom, which is a horrible company.

Which I don't have a prob with, actually... the competitive landscape obviously does affect VZW. Like WiMax, this merger also is part of said landscape.
So I believe we can talk about stuff like this once in awhile, long as we don't go overboard. If I wanted a discussion site that was super-strict and Nazi-ish about such things, I'd spend 100% of my time at HoFo. 🙄

Regardless, the competition with Sprint and Wimax and other carriers that I talk about in the forums have to deal with each other but T-mobile buying Suncom doesn’t expand any more of the competitive landscape because T-mobile doesn’t really benefit that much, especially since they already have some AWS spectrum in the areas in which Suncom operates.

Meh, I don't think so. Obviously, in markets where Suncom operates, it does affect VZW to some degree. It also could be a sign of a change of strategy for T-Mobile, i.e. acquisitions are good. 😎
