Is it possible to browse the internet without the premium package and VPak? Can you download video content and navigation? What is the price to access them? I notice the premium package is only for a few phones.
Thanks.

Thanks.

I was looking at the Samsung SCH-U620 as one possible choice of phones.

mobile web is $5 a month, VPak is 15.00 includes mobile web and unlimited airtime for get it now/mobile web. vz navigator is 2.99 for 24 hour use, 9.99 a month for unlimited (although the unlimited airtime that was promised for vz navigator still hasn't materialized, according to infocenter they're having "issues" implementing it). the premium plan basically saves you $10 by bundling everything together, it also has mobile email, which is mainly why not all the phones are compatible, they just haven't written the mobile email software for the many other "premium"-ish handsets..frankly its kind of idiotic and i hope they get their butts in gear

Thanks, Also would trying the prepaid service give me a good idea of the signal strength of Verizon without the need for a contract on a 30 day test drive? It seem as if it would be an easier way to test out the service.
Thanks

sure, if you just feel like wasting money. You will get the phone discounte on a monthly on prepaid not as much, so it would be far less just to do the testdrive in the long run
