Blackberry Suggestion
Hi everyone,
I was wondering if someone could give me a suggestion on a Blackberry. A friend of mine asked me to look into the 8830 World Phone, and on here it has a 4.1 rating, but there were some posts about call quality, for example, that I'm thinking may make it a bad decision.
I currently have the enV and love it (I know that's really no comparison), but I don't have experience with the blackberries. He would be able to get it for a discounted rate from his company, but it can be any blackberry - doesn't have to be the 8830. Is there one in particular that is VZW's best right now?

Also alternatively, if there's a specific PDA phone (non blackberry) that you could recommend, please list it. But I think he needs to have a blackberry device.
Or other than the upcoming i760, xv6800, or pearl 2, is there anything worth waiting for as a PDA or blackberry? I would say the curve, but I think that's still just a rumor.

Nothing is really in the pipeline except for maybe the curve, but even that is still up in the air. The pearl should be out in november, but I think the suretype keyboard is difficult to use and is not a great option. I would go with the 8703e, its highly rated and is a great overall BB solution.

The keyboard on the 8703e is great. If you can deal with 2 way scrolling.

Im starting to fall in love with blackberry...and I only have the 7290! Can't wait to try some of their new offerings on verizon.
