what phone are you coming from? I would go with the LG 8350 or the Razr2.

ya, i would say play with the 8700, 8300, and 8350 And see which you like the best.

I went with the Slvr after 2 years with an E-815 (which was VZWs best phone for a while), and I would have to say that it's somewhat comparable as far as voice quality and reception are concerned. I like it and have no complaints.
