This is the first review I have read which said the signal strength was low. Can this be confirmed by any other users?

2 bars vs. a normal 5 bars

Now I am reconsidering purchase.

Inside and outside, antenna up or down(e815), providing you hold the V9m from the hinge and don't cup the base with your hand, they show practically identical ranges of RSSI values
between 77 and 90 -dbm with a very slight overall average advantage to the e815.

Had the Q9 for about three weeks now. The phone is wonderful, much better than the first Q. Reception is great and the phone will work fine even when no bars are displayed. Wireless sync works much better than it used to and the push e-mail feature is as good as blackberry.
