Verizon Chooses LTE For 4G; so, what does this mean to me?

In layman's terms what does it mean to me. Is Verizon moving away from CDMA

Not directly and not yet. They will still use that network for their current operations well into they start to launch their network and could do it as an overlay after the LTE is installed and commercialized. Given the fact that VZ spends over $7b per year on CDMA I doubt they would keep both, although, that can happen.

Laymen’s terms; you should have faster data speeds with more capacity and lesser latency. They also want to team up with Voda and to allow for a globalized platform between their assets worldwide.
