Techs, need help. Treo question

Does Quick2Net connect using a Treo 700wx? For an internal call, not tethering.

I don't think so. I don't even think you can get that software for a Treo. Isn't it only for "phones"? I use PDA Net on my Treo to "tether" without "tethering".

the treo 700wx uses a dial up connection into the vzw data access number. Quick2Net uses different login credentials and because of the way it connects to the network and the type of connection it establishes(25 cents per min) it is not supported by the devices or tech support. not to mention the speed is 14.4 kbps compared to Rev.0 400-700 kbps ๐Ÿ˜

Okay, so the general agreement is that Quick2Net won't work on the Treo 700wx. What about the 6700?

I don't believe it will work on any PDA product. By design if they use any data at all they either need a data package or will be paying per kb. I don't really even know where you would start if you were to try and use quick2net.

Acutally, you are wrong. I use a Samsung i730 with the Quick2Net service (and a NationalAccess block) and it just uses minutes, I never get charged any KB usage.


Anybody know/has tested it on the 6700???
