Now let me make sure I understand this right the X will have Internet but not wifi? Think you will be able to get on youtube on the X? Also do you think you will have to pay for "PDA" service for the X to get on the net??? Or is it going to be that Mobile net?

I am in the same boat, the wifi is nice but the 10000 should be vcast so $15 a month is ok for unlimited web. I was waiting on the i760 but I didn't think we would see the 10000 for another 6 months, now i don't know what to do either. WOW first time this has ever happened to me with Verizon

Ya but I'm sure they are just going to say in 3 day "X out by X-mas" but then again who the hell knows when the i760 will ever be out. Now will that be the same internet that i760 uses?

I think the deciding factor is going to be do you want a phone or a PDA? The 10000 is going to be way more like a phone with maybe a little better net. The i760 is ovbiously a full fledged PDA.

I have had the "V" for two years, and love it, but I'm really itching for a new phone. I am waiting for i760 or XV6800, both PDAs. But seeing the new 10,000 (what a stupid name) I am tempted. I read that it has HTML browsing, how is that possible? I mean, VZW offers Mobile Web 2, Smart Phone and then Pocket PC. The new 10 Thousand is not a pocket PC of course and doesn't look like a smart phone either, so how can it have HTML browsing outside of Mobile Web 2?
And if it's only MW2, I am certainly getting a PDA...

I think the 10000 is supposed to be competition for the iPhone. It seems stupid that it wouldn't have a full HTML browser seeing as how that's one of the major advantages of the iPhone.

i don't think it will have an HTML browser when it doesn't even have wifi, and if it did it would suck cuz you would have to pay for a data plan.

Far as cool goes, I was an Apple fan back when everyone said they were gonna die. So I think I know cool better than you or most ppl.
Far as the VX10K goes, you can badmouth it all you want, but nearly everyone I've heard talk about it disagrees with you. But if you like, you can stand outside the VZW store with a sign saying, "It-it-it... isn't... THAT cool!" if it makes you feel better.
Just try not to get crushed by the crowd of ppl walkin' in to buy one. 😉

Well, that's the great thing about it... VZW's getting the VX10K and the Pearl 8130 and the Juke and the VX8800.
So no one has to whine about how the 10K isn't what they personally want... they got plenty of other good phones to choose from. 😎
