My mom has that crappy Moto that was free when you purchased a Razr(my mom and dad got new phones in 06). Anyway, her phone dies after making 1 phone call and it stays on the charger all the time. My dad says that she just needs a new battery but she really needs a new phone. Does she really have to wait until May 08 to get a new phone with instant rebate or can she get one now and still get a rebate? 😕

is your PRL current? have her dial *228 that can make a big difference, also there is probably new firmware for the phone, take it to a corporate verizon store and have them flash it, flashing is free and it might fix it...if nothing else you can still do an out of warranty swap if there's no water damage and/or major physical damage...its $50 for the out of warranty swap...just a couple of ideas for you to check out

If she got the v325 (which they were giving away last year), that phone eats batteries for breakfast. Bite the bullet and replace the battery, it only gets worse from here.
