Do you think HTML browsing will be covered under vpak, such as it is now for mobile web? Since this is not a smartphone/pda what do you think?

it would be awesome if the 15 bones would cover it, but i highly doubt it...45 bucks for full html would be my guess.

I'm thinking it might be something similar to the other carriers. Maybe $15 for full html browsing, apposed to $5 mobile web. Who knows, really...

it won't be 45...no one would buy it. They have to compete with iphone pricing. So it will prolly be similar to that.

Given that they put data caps, and restrictions, on the current EV-DO devices, I doubt they would add a lot of HTML browsing and other functionality. Although, things may change, but given VZ’s continued issues that they do with their data networks and devices, I doubt it. (I did not look at the spec sheet.)

Until they drop those restrictions and caps, I do not have to, and I like your response. What else is new.

Nextel is out in left field. I repeat. Everyone will be happy with the data plan and the pricing. I guarantee it. When the information is released, Nextel will apologize and then we can all move on with our lives.

the 4 or 5 GB cap doesnt effect people that surf the web and access e-mail. The Data plans pricing will be changing as the Voyager and Pearl launch as VZW is gearing these phones to consumers and not businesses

There shouldn’t be a cap in the first place. They should also do EV-DO roaming deals.
...

They have to roll out a12 authenication on their EVDO to complete roaming

I read something about the data plans changing but I wasn't sure if it was truth or rumor as all these forums seem to talk alot. It wouldnt surprise if Verizon drops the data plans next month as they launch the BB Pearl. The Pearl is geared to consumers and it even has VZ Navigator.

Let's take a look at the punches Verizon is throwing already

-Change Price Plan w/o contract extendion (take that Chad)
-A contender for the iPhone (granted nothing will beat Apple hype and marketing)
-Launching a slew of new and some pretty cool phones

If they keeps this up cheaper data and 7pm night will be on the way..... 😁

Then what will people complain about?

yeah verizon has really answered the call...

But people will still complain about UI and bluetooth crippling.

The tv reception and the picture quality on it is wonderful. I hadn't planned on getting mobile tv, but now I think I might. Also the camera is great despite some naysayers saying 2 MP is too small. I love the fact that you don't just have a touchscreen like the iphone, the inside looks the enV but a little bigger. I didn't get a chance to play with the internet that much because there were about 15 people over my shoulder.
