What do you guys think of the NetACE enhancements from over the weekend? I think it just makes selling out the phone ridiculously difficult.

Until I get the hang of it, I don't care for it...

But I'm sure I'll learn to tolerate it and then all will be okay...

I does add a few steps to what was a simple process though...

Just curious... what changed? We use EROES and we had a small change. We have to now hit the view promos button which just seems to populate whether the contract is extended or no changes.

You work in a corp store?

Then you would know how NetACE was fine till this screwup. Sure it blocks unwanted discounting, but why discount AFTER teh order is complete?

i definitely like it better, my rep brought her laptop in which was kind of neat in itself, apparently the reps have verizon aircards that allow them to access verizon's internal web...hadn't seen that before but it was cool. she also walked me through some basics with netace, the thing i like is that you can see and make notes on an account and you can print off bills...two things i've been wishing for as an indirect...let's just hope we get it soon. did you seen on the new rebate form the voyager, the venus, the juke, the flipshot (u900), z6c, q9c, bb pearl, and the xv6800 are all on there? the rebate expires 11/26...so maybe we'll at least see a couple of the new phones before that

Sorry to burst your bubble, but indirect agents will not likely ever be able to add notes to a customers account. ("Never say Never", they once said we'd NEVER have $9.99 add a lines) Because of legal reason you have to be a VZW employee to be ...

i'm just going on what my rep told me...and no we aren't able to print bills at least in the market that i work in...and i guess i should clarify on what i meant by "printing out bills" i should have said it would be nice if we could actually see a customer's bill (other than what eroes tells us and eroes is almost always off, especially on SMS and minutes) and explain to them why their bill is so high. if verizon allowed us indirects a little more leeway and access to information that we need to provide proper customer service it would make life just a tad easier, we don't have a corporate verizon store within 100 miles of where i work so its a little hard to tell a customer we can't tell them what's going on with their bill and that they h...

e*ROES is seriously crippled in comparison to what Verizon employees have access to. The fact that e*ROES needs a full social security number to do anything where a corporate location just needs a password on the account is complete BS. Verizon really shoots indirects in the foot then tells them to be on their way and be sure to do a good job while simultaneously doing things like offering deals that we can't match. It really is ridiculous. I could go on and on about how Verizon corporate (not corporate stores, mind you) screws indirect locations, but it's not going to change anything. Why bother?

I just want to say I hear you. I work with Indirect and love all my agents. I would change things for you if I could. But I have to deal with the cards we're dealt. GO INDIRECT!!! They account for over 40% of new activations in the Pacific Northwest!!!

It makes exchanges very tough. I also hate having to get manager codes all the time. It's a big headache for now!!
