Can someone confirm what exactly pre-ordering a device does for you? Also, there was some speculation in an earlier string that this might be released earlier then advertised....can you give us an update to that? What is the latest buzz regarding the data portion for the Voyager, is it going to be covered in the VCast Pack? I can't wait to get my hands on this!!!! 😳

Same as preordering a book, movie, or game.

It will be shipped or delivered on the launch date. You wouldn't be able to get it before the general public can, but you can have it preordered and ready to go for you. That way you don't have to wait till day 2 after launch to find out everyone out there bought them all up, and now they're on backorder for 3 weeks...cuz when that happens....it's a pisser.
