Interesting. Can anyone substantiate the claims that Sprint's EVDO service is faster and more widespread than Verizon's? I am in Orange County, CA, 99% of the time I use my Verizon card. Which performs better here?

On a visit to Texas, I had EVDO in Houston and it dropped to 1xRTT in Galveston.

Also, what are the realistic chances of an end user getting the SERO discount?

heh, I like how they didnt even get the pricing on VZW broadband access correct. The requirement for the voiceline to get it at 59.99 was droped months ago.

They have the activation fee wrong as it is a $35, it would not be $25 for the 59.99 plan.

They have the taxes and surcharges wrong as well, as they are posting the information for voice lines not data lines.


So what do I think, I think it is pretty sad that they spent all that time writing out such a large article that they didnt do enough research on...

To each his own. If I tried hard enough I could find an article that made VZW look like the EVDO king.

Aren't some customers able to get a discount on data through the ELEU (ECPD) program now?
