BTA?
Is it possible to do bill to acct. in a corporate retail location? I know that a Sprint is able to do it, but i was wondering if VZW could do this as well.

Technically a VZW corp employee is supposed to get managers approval to bill to an account. That is they can bill to an existing account only. The old days of activating new service and billing it to a brand new account are gone with the bag phone.

i was wanting to get the pearl when it releases in the stores but i have to pay full retail... didnt want to front the whole $319.99 so i was going to see if i could either pay some and BTA the rest or BTA the whole thing... I am currently a customer and i have 3 lines, but i have no upgrade options

There is a maximum dollar amount that can be billed to an account. I think it varies by region. In the West its $200 I think. If you are planning to bill some or most of it to the account you should just call telesales. They don't have to have managers approval since billing to the account is basically the only way they can take payment. But you can pay part of it over the phone with them using a credit card. thanks for the info. I talked to a local vzw rep and they said max was $200 so you were correct with that! Also I work for *insert nationally known cellular company* so i "run quickly" away from calling any sort of CC based on my experience with THEM lol... so to the local corp VZW store I go to purchase a little piece of heaven 🙂... when they get them...
