I guess Sprint can no longer claim that they're built from the ground up.

Why not?

I don't think they are a virtual company and still hold and own their own switches and fiber optic lines second to AT&T (not the wireless).

Built from the ground up implies 100%. What are they going to say now "Kinda Sorta Built from the Ground Up."

I guess VZW can also claim that they are built from the ground up since they have built some switches and towers

That's right Verizon inherited GTE's switches.
