new data plans

for all those herbs who keep running around these forums finding a reason to jump on verizon, the new data plans arent the reason your looking for.


the new data plans are nothing new to the competition since they have been doing this the whole time they have been around, paying for KB usage .....


the new part is we did the same thing, except......WE ARE 5 TIMES CHEAPER THAN ATT AND 10 TIMES CHEAPER THAN SPRINT WITH THE BEST DATA SPEEDS IN THE MARKET TODAY. Sprint LOVES to proclaim they have better data speeds, well if thats the case, explain your turnover ratio of 27 customers out and 1 in towards VZW. And ATT knows they dont have the speeds or pricing to mess with our services, all they have is an wanna be Prada phone that is abou...

Wow. That is all I can say is Wow.

Never before have I seen a large group of people recite the same crap that I had just gotten done taking a training, a conference call, and forced to listen to my manager drone on for 45 minutes about.

The MB usage figures that you are talking about are without any kind of data add-on. And if some one is using a MB of date on the mobile web, then you can bet they have a plan to go with it.

The per MB pricing is meant to induce people to gun for the Vcast pak, but the per mb pricing will not induce any such thing. Why? because I can use 6.5 MB and still come in under the cost of the Vcast pak by more than a dollar with the $1.99 pricing.

Verizon is just doing what it should have done years ago...

Verizon is just doing what it should have done years ago, and that is get with the program when it comes to data.

Charging 5 bucks for access to the mobile web and then charging minute of use (MOU) to a customer? Now that is some shady ****.
