i760 text message question
Hi all,
I have just gotten the i760 and so far so good for the most part. One issue that I am having is that I need my phone for use as a pager when I am on-call for my job. The problem that I am having is that at night I keep the volume low and rely on the repeat tones until I hear it and it wakes me up. I previously used and LG 8300 and it was perfect in that respect. Now I cannot get my text messages to continue to repeat a tone every few minutes until it is either viewed or acknowledged. I have found where I believe you go to configure it but it appears to be grayed out. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

I am sleeping at the time that I want the reminder. My wife is not on-call, I am, so I do not want a loud tone played that will wake her up as well. The option is grayed out for text messages for some reason.

I don't believe any Windows Mobile PDA's offer this feature. I miss it as well but none of my PDA's have ever had this feature out of the box. There are 3rd party applications out there that will accomplish what you want plus more. Try a google search.
