Verizon and Sprint??? COULD IT BE TRUE?! :)

I jsut read that Verizon may bid on Sprint PCS. Do any of you have any more info on the possibilties of this happening? I would think it would be great! Especially since we would then have access to the Sanyo phone lineup!!! Give me any feedback ya'll may have. thanks

I appears that Sprint put itself on the block after the Nextel-Sprint merger announcement over the weekend.

It makes more sence to me the merger of Verizon and Sprint due to their system similarities than Nextel and Sprint.
