The cheapest texting plan offered by VZW will be $5 a month and it includes a total of 250 messages. So both incoming and outgoing count against the 250 but there is also a $10 package that includes unlimited messaging to other verizon customers and also has 500 additional messages to be sent to other carriers.

yeah your right it may not be so pick up the phone and call them. You can say they have a 1000 text plan for 2.99. So their going to pick up the phone and ask for it and find out its false and they will tell you what you have. See were I am going?

$10 for unlimited texting to other Verizon subscribers and 500 for other carriers?! At Sprint you get unlimited texting for $10/ month for unlimited text to ANY person on ANY network! But at least theres some form of unlimited text..is it T-mobile or AT&T that doesnt have unlimited text? ๐Ÿคจ

I dont know if you actually work for Verizon Wireless or not but we haven't sold the 2.99 plan (at least in the midwest) for at least 2 years.

Now we all see why wombough made the commment he made. So much inacurate/false info is given on here about pricing you are better off calling.
