I have to hear it from all the VZW haters...but here are my reasons why people hate on VZW..

AT&T customers say: we have the biggest customer base blah blah reason they do is cause the buy every little company they can...I hear everyone cry about how crippled the BT is OMG STFU already with it. I'm willing go give my right eye to bet that you will not use that BT to it's full ability.... so why does it matter to you if it's cripple?

They say VZW has lame interface ....I say it's great you have no idea how many customer come in wanting you to show them how to use their phone...it's as they say, give a man a fish he will eat for a day. Teach a man how to fish he will eat for a lifetime......

I'm going to have to agree with you. Everybody hates the team that is ALWAYS #1. Those underneath you are always waiting for you to fall. It's like they teach you in grade school, those that make fun of you are either insecure, or jealous. Lowest churn in the industry for the last two years! att/Cingular/ATT, Tmobile, and Sprextel wish they could say their customers were that loyal. Even when VZW makes it easier for customers to leave (ex. variable ETF, Test Drive, no contract extension on pplan changes) they STILL have the lowest churn.

The best way to shut up the VZW reps and employees is to beat them. Prove us wrong!

Verizon buys as many if not more carriers in their history then att has.

Verizon's price is high and sorry but their is not that much of a notice on quality. Sprint will all 1900 is better voice quality then verizon were they have 800.

VZW is on top no doubt about it. They have a great network (as do the others) great name reputation, awesome marketing and tons of money!

Wom, If I'm not mistaken. VZW has spectrum in both 800mhz and the 1900 PCS ranges? Also, doesn't 800 penetrate better than 1900? What's the voice quality difference. What little their may actually be is unnoticable to just about anyone. It's not the kind of leap as it would be from, say, GSM to CDMA is quality differe...

yes they do its about 50/50. And yes it penetrates better but I can notice a big voice difference. When I had sprint it was like a land line, with alltlel its like a cell phone. Could be why they call 800 cell band and 1900 PCS band. I dunno but I can notice a big difference. Not as bad as GSM though.

I think its your imagination, frankly. Or the phone you're using.

I used to be on Sprint (1900 band), and I thought the voice quality was 'good, not great'. I think my current VZW 850 band service sounds slightly better, actually, but without A-B testing, its hard to say.

I think the phone you're using makes a much bigger difference than the band or even the tech, honestly. The LG 8300 sou...

So let me get this right... you honestly think that voice quality isnt the same from the 850 band to the 1900 band?

You really need to look into how wireless phone services work. The point in the 1900 band is that data transfers are faster. The tech that the voice network works over works the same with 850 and 1900. The 1900 band does data better as you can cram more in the higher frequencies.

LMAO. The polar ice caps are melting, the air and water are poison and this person spends two hours writing about how much they love a company that sells minutes. I guess everybody has to love something. If you ask me they are all crooks and if you make more money it just means you figured out the best way to screw poor people out of a larger portion of their paycheck.
