The pearl is a nice phone. The vz nav is good. The only thing that may cause a problem is the keyboard. If you can get use to using the keys, then this may be the phone for you. The q9m is nice as well. the keyboard is a little better, customization of your home screen and the ability to make customizations to windows is a plus. go to a store and play with both devices. hopefully that will help your decision.
