Billable data -- WiFi, EVDO, data plans - CONFUSED??

New Smart/PDA Phone user (i760)and I am CONFUSED regarding what is "billable" data.

I would appreciate it if someone could point me to an "understandable" explanation of the myriad of Vzw non-voice (phone) services. For example, the following service that are listed in various Vzw plans/features: EVDO (broad band access - is this the data access method?), Mobile Web/Web 2.0; Get it Now; VCast; VZ Access; Data Access for Email; Text Messaging, WiFi...........

As suggested in another post re "Disabling Data for Internet", I changed the Data Ntwk # from #777 to "garbage #". Is this EVDO?

Another post implies that using WiFi is NOT billable. Is that correct?

Mobile Web 2.0, Get it now, Vcast, etc are not on your phone. ignore them.

you are not charged data for Text/pix/flix messages. they come out of your messaging plan only.

EVDO/1xrtt connections to the internet/email use Data and would be billed according to your plan, if you do not have a plan then I assume the rate would be $0.015/kb

WiFi does not incur data charges if you are connected via the wifi network
