i760 going back - need advice
I have the i760 right now and am not too thrilled with it. I love the OS and what I can do PDA wise, but I hate the fact that it is a phone second.
I don't need the email functionality, but I do need calendar, text with reminders until I look at it, and internet.
I am a business user and have been considering the Voyager, but I know that the HTC 6800 is coming very soon as well. For you Voyager owners have any of you used the sync function to load up your Outlook Calendar yet? Any help or advice will be greatly appreciated!
the voyager has the standard calander just with a touch screen to navigate it. based on what you have said I would probably keep the i760, unless you really like the 6800

waiting for the 6800 which is more than 1 yr overdue? Sounds like you need a HTC Tilt 😉
C'mon eraser, that isn't nice, tryin' to lure ppl to go onto ATT's crappy network. 🤣
Needs = Good, easy to use phone. Text messages continue to remind you to view them until they are acknowledged. Good signal quality in fringe areas.
Wants = Windows OS, PDA functionality to sync calendar and contacts but I do not need email so a BB isn't really in my arena.
On the i760 I have hung up on several calls, struggle to get the number pad to light up both before and during a call, and it really has mediocre sound quality (kind of buzzy in the earpiece).
Thanks for any advice.
FWIW, my brother does have a Q9 and likes it, aside from the battery life, which he says is lacking (he has an extended battery on his, and the thing still barely gets through the day).
He's waiting on the Q9c, which is supposed to be out this month or next, and should have better battery life (light sensors cut the screen when you're talking, slightly bigger battery, etc.). But I really couldn't tell you if his needs line up with yours.

Thanks for the info.
Any word on the new Treo?
The 755p? Allegedly in December or very early '08. But as always with release dates, you can never say for dead certain:
