8130 VS 8830? HELP!
I'm up for my new every two; currently have Treo 650 (Palm) w/Verizon. It's been good to me, but since switching to Mac very painful to sync. I'm ready for a bberry. I'm a small business owner and heavy email user, and would like to be able to view documents on the PDA is possible.
Torn between the 8130 (Pearl) and the 8830. My biggest concern with the 8130 is the Suretype and the funky, curvy keyboard. The 8830 lacks a camera, which I've grown to really like, but is a handsome piece of equipment. Also heard it lets you easily 'dial' phone extensions by hitting the trackball, which is huge; would like to know if the Pearl allows the same.
Anyone who has a Mac and can speak to syncability, much appreciated.

I have the 8830 and i use a mac every day. I'm not a fan. With a mac you cant download updates and music. I love the phone but blackberry is more for the windows users. I love the phone but if your a mac user I would think about it

Hmmm. Thanks for the input; not what I wanted to hear, that Mac and bberry don't place nice. Did you use software like Mark/Space to facilitate the sync?
