Brand New Service Survey - Guess Who Won Hands Down
There is a multi-page report on cell phone service covering 47,629 responses to their most recent survey in September 2007. The ratings again cover twenty major metropolitan area across the US. There are numerical Reader scores and graphic survey results for the following four criteria: No service, Circuits full, Dropped calls and Static.
Clearly, the blue striped globe didn't look very good.
Obviously written by a non-mainstream, non-common, non-everyday genius.

Isn't it amazing how Consumer Reports which respresents the MAJORITY of Americans must be incorrect and "suck", when independent companies outside of the industry that states at&tingular has the fewest dropped calls is 100% accurate?
Be prepared for all the folks who didn't win to complain and cry about how awful Consumer Reports is for not rating their pet carrier higher, tho'. 🙄

...and Consumer Reports is one of the few magazines that tells you that the most important consideration, even above "who's best", is personal coverage. They have helped me make better purchases over the years than I could have without them.
I have argued at length with some of these naysayers who insist that only "experts" are qualified to make analysis of networks and phones.
But how difficult is it to know whether something works ...

* they also only rated 6-7 phones for other carriers as well... but to get an honest rating of phones, wouldn't they try x amount from all carriers?
