Not that I condone the trolling of BeachSlapped but our 2G Pearl is still faster than our 3G phones, so who needs 3G on a blackberry? The Duo is a new WM6 from Pantech that slides two ways, down and sideways. The tilt is a little more than nothing special, but that's just my opinion.

the duo has a 2.7 out of 5 star rating on your guys reviews. seems we arent missing much there most people think its pretty ****ty.

I wouldnt want a tilt myself, i see no functional need to have the screen tilt up.

i really like the env. i just wish verizon didn't have the restrictions on what you can do and how you can do it. but at least i can use a phone now!

From a consumer stand point I think it's great, of course reps are harder on phones, they expect more.

Then compare it to the 8525. Almost the same thing.

Mott- you received a $50 ne2 and make sure your actually getting the $50 mail in rebate. Because they might just have let you do an early upgrade. or an "annual" which means you get the phone at the promotional price which is 299.99. Say for me for instance if I am eligable for my ne2 than I would get the phone at 199.99 because I have a 100 ne2 credit.

ok cuz i called and asked when we got my upgrade eligability set up correctly and i asked specificaly what the ne2 preice was and they said 299.99 with a $50 rebate... these rebates confuse meso much with verizon!!!! i like how sprint does theirs!!! if you keep the phone for12 months you get $75 off the base price, if you keep it for 22 you get $150. with verizon there are 30 different prices for one product and 30 different upgrade choices. im just so confused...

You got the Annual Upgrade program. With VZW if you have a line with a price plan of 49.99 or higher you can upgrade after just 12 months into a 24 month agreement. This upgrade is for the standard promotional pricing. In order to get the New Every Two discount you need to have completed 20 months since your last upgrade and have been on a price plan of 34.99 or higher for those 20 months. If your price plan is less than 79.99 per month you get $50 off of the normal promotional pricing with a new two year agreement. If your price plan was 79.99 or higher you would get $100 off of the normal promotion pricing.


If I were you I would refuse the shipment from Fed Ex and just wait until 12/20 to use your New Every Two to save $50/$100.

Pretty much the phones are being sent out as fast as LG gets them in to VZW. The current info says that all customers that order them will have them no later than dec 15th. I have spoken to a few customer that got them after a week, so hopefully it wont take long.
