software dowloads for xv6800 WM6
HEY all you tech savy guys,
i have been searching threads on here for downloads and have yet to find one that will give me a website that will work with wm6 and the xv6800. Perhaps its me, but i was hoping you guys could help me out. I want to get yahoo messanger on there with some games and stuff, kinda make the pda a lil user friendly. Also, i was looking for the thread that i think wfine put out about cancelling the DATA plan once u get the phone. My question is though using wifi what can i do with it and not get charged downloads for?

handango.com then just select your carrier and device...the 6800 is there.
if you cancel your data plan you will not get charged for wifi downloads, but it kinda defeats the purpose of a truly mobile PDA. you can browse the web and get your email and everything else as if you had a data plan. make sure that if you decide to go that route you ask the representative to put a data block. and here's another catch...with data block picture messaging does not work. i would say if you had such a powerful PDA and you shelled out a good amount of $$$ for it, just keep the data plan.
keep in mind that wifi has extremely limited range, and most providers (i.e. t-mobile at starbucks) will still charge for the access...at least when i used it a cou...
