You did know that there is a plastic film over the front screen when you recieve it, right? It does appear that the front is scratched when you take it out of the box because of this film over it. It's not the normal plastic covering on phones, it fits the screen perfectly and you can hardly tell it's a plastic film until you peel it.

I ordered my Voyager online and thought it quite odd it didn't have any plastic on the external screen but it did on the internal screen. I had a couple minor rubs but otherwise it was okay so I just bought a screen protector.

I also had one other little piece of plastic on the phone and it was on the back of the phone by the camera.

I'm in Evansville myself 🙂

Were the scratches on the screen itself under the plastic film? Was the plastic film even there?

All phones are suppose to be sent out with a film over each screen to make sure it doesnt get scratched ahead of time.
