Block restricted calls
Is there a way to block restricted calls on an XV6800?
I called VZW CS, and they said it could not be done on the account without blocking all inbound calls. The XV6800 was not out yet when I called them...it is my new phone as of two weeks ago.
I keep getting calls from a restricted number. No one says anything when I answer. If I answer or let it go to voice mail, all I hear is Spanish in the background. It is as though a Spanish-speaking person has me on speed dial.
My Spanish from 30 years ago in high school does me no good, because the background voices are too faint to tell what is being said. It sounds like a phone on a desk is calling me with no one intentionally doing it.

Well your 6800 does not have those capabilities built in. You can try this app at handango.com . make sure you download the trial to make sure it works.

If it really matters that much to you then most of the normal handsets has where you can block incoming calls to your contact list only. Hope this helps.
Oh and if you do try that app reply back to this message and let us know if it worked. I also have a 6800.
