Just got a BB 8130
Where do I start? I just got it last night, so I didn't have that much time to play with it. How do you get AOL Instant Messenger on there? Anyone have any little tidbits of information that I should know?
Also, I went with the 450 minute Select Nationwide with the $30 unlimited personal data plan, so thanks to everyone who helped me save some money with your advice yesterday. 🙂

go to the forum page for the pearl...you will find more detailed info there. Also try some of the blackberry specific forums (just google "blackberry forums")
Congrats on joining the BB revolution! I use an 8830 and I can't wait till the curve comes out for vzw.

"I can't wait till the curve comes out for vzw"
If this happens, I will be in a real quandary. I have always carried two devices (regular cell and bberry) and today carry the curve on AT&T and the LG VX8700 on VZW.
I LOVE the Curve and if VZW actually got it, I would have to give serious thought to carrying just one device.

BB Pearl is AWESOME!
Enjoy it. once you get the keyboard down Im sure you will be hooked. The web browser with the mouse curser movement is so cool.
as for the AIM part I dont know but im sure someone else will answer that.

Thanks to everyone for the kind and helpful words! 😁 So far, I love my Pearl, and they keyboard is really intuitive, for those who are curious. The only problem I'm having is that I'm not sure how to backup my contacts, etc. on my computer. The BB software that comes with the phone isn't very user-friendly, in my opinion. But I still love it! Thanks guys!
