I read a review where it says you can read txt messages from the small screen...just got the phone (love it), but I can't read a txt from the front screen. Any ideas anyone?

Most new phones if you can, you may have to turn on "auto view".

Select "message" in the bottom corner, then choose "settings" in the corner. Under txt mesg, see if you have "auto view". If so turn it on.

Samsung 740 is like that.

Ah thank you very much! Now if I could only get the keypad sound to not be so loud this phone would be perfect.

That should be just as easy. Look around in the "settings" area of the phone. Maybe in "initial setup" or somewhere around there.

Lol nah I'm pretty good with cell phones...I'm surprised, I just checked and my old razr had that txt option. Ive been deprived! Anyway, I have the keypad volume on its lowest setting and its still way too loud. In other reviews people have noticed this too.

Of course you can, but thats not the point. I prefer some sound just not as loud as this thing is. I'm assuming it has to do with the 2 stereo speakers.
