Customizable Vibration Alert

Do any of the phones allow more customization of the vibration alert, specifically for text messaging? I need a phone that will give more than one short buzz when a text arrives.

There aren't many phones that will allow you to customize the actual vibration however, most have an option to set a reminder time so that it will vibrate every 2 minutes or every 15 minutes.

I have a Blackberry Pearl, and you can have up to 3 vibrations.

I have a Nextel Powersource phone. It uses the same software program that the Moto Razr's do.

On mine, you can set voice records as ringers. If he has this type of phone, he should be able to record silence for 60 seconds, then set it as a ringer.
