Another Thing On the New Data Pricing...
Apparently the plans ROUND UP to the next MB. So if you use, say, only 1KB of data, you get charged the $1.99.
So, say I ACCIDENTALLY hit the hot key or whatever to lauch mobile web/the browser. If even 1 byte of data gets transferred, I get hit with the $1.99 charge, do I not?
If so, that doesn't seem too cool. âšī¸

I'm pretty sure this was one of the main reasons many people fuzzed about this, months ago. I'm very suprised that you just thought about it, today....
I don't recall it coming up that much back then, ppl seemed much more worried about whether or not the per MB charge was reasonable. They all seemed to calm down once it was pointed out that VZW's per MB charge was a lot less than ATT's and Sprint's.
I'm very surprised you didn't bring this up more, you seem to love to point out anything that is less than perfect in Verizonland. đ˛
Thats is a great point...im sure there will thousands of charges just like that every month...
Verizon fans are so in denial...
Yeah I kinda sucks if you just logged on for a second and got charged $2. But this is the way the trend is going. People forget that companies are in this to make money and if you don't like what verizon does, go to another carrier.
I don't think its denial, its just a realization that we are entering a new era of phone usage. People are using more and more data and you have to adjust how you charge for those services. I don't really have a problem with this..because vzw still has the cheapest per MB charge inthe industry
CS is auth to provide a one time 1.99 credit (so I heard, I dont know for a fact ofcourse) and place a block on data if needed.

But hey! System thinks there's nothing wrong with that...

Anxio, don't be dumb. I wouldn't have brought it up if I thought it was 'okay'. Duh. đ
