Unless you can prove you only signed a 1 year service agreement you are stuck on the 2 year.
To my knowledge there is no way of changing it without a manager override and they will not do it wthout just cause.

After 30 days from your 2 year activation you are stuck on your 2 year contract. Less than 30 days you can switch, but will have to pay the difference between the 1yr and 2yr price of the phone if you indeed did purchase one.

yeah but you pay more for a phone. if you are on a price plan of 49.99/month or higher you can get a phone every year. it has to be 12 months since your last upgrade not esn change. its called an annual upgrade. you would get a phone at the 2 year pricing plus any MIR. there is a 20.00 processing fee if you do it at a direct store or cs but that would be waived if u do it thru my account. what price plan are you on?

yeah my sister has the the annual upgrades and I have one year but my mom has two year so i wanted to switch her so i can use her upgrade....we are vip account so we dont have to pay those extra costs and stuff
