Removing Verizon Banner from LG 4500?
Is it possible to remove the Verizon Wireless banner from the LG 4500? It takes up a lot of room in the display screen and makes the screen look cluttered and small.
A friend of mine mentioned his wife was able to get rid of her banner on her LG 4400 but she doesn't remember how what she pushed to remove it.

You can't eliminate that banner as it is part of the ERI system (Enhanced Roaming Indicator). This tells you whether you are on a Verizon system, Extended Roaming or Roaming.
