Picture Messaging on PDA's (Final Answer)
Here it is straight from the M&P's.
Picture and Video Messaging on PDAs
As of 12/15/06, MMS (Picture and Video Messaging) no longer incurs transport charges on advanced devices that are kilobyte-based (such as PDA/Smartphones) while on the Verizon Wireless network.
If customers are on the Verizon Wireless Network:
• If the customer has a MB allowance, MMS will NOT deduct from it on the Verizon Wireless footprint.
• This enhancement is especially beneficial to customers on the pay-as-you-go data feature, as picture messaging transport will no longer bill at the pay-as-you-go data rate of $0.015 dollars per kilobyte.
• Normal MMS (PIX/FLIX) per-message charges apply, but will not use airtime or kilobytes, and wil...

Is ther a document number (or something) that I can reference? I just spoke with cust.services about getting the 5800 with a txt/pix plan. She said I wouldnt be charged for the txts, but I would get charges for the data from the pix.

is there anyway to get that information too bc everytime i talk them and even the corporate office says it uses kbs when you ahve a pda and i called them and emailed htem on two seperate occassions and they keep saying that.

Sign into "My Account"on the VZW website click on the "Messaging" tab, scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the "Terms & Conditions" hyperlink. The policy on PDA/smartphone messaging is in bold text.
