Data charges and ringtones

😡 I just noticed on my bill that I had data charges on my account, so I called customer service to see what they are for since I do not use my phone to access web, email etc. I found out since I had recently switched to the national plan I am now being billed for browsing ring tones even thoguh I did not make a purchase. To me it is wrong to charge your customers data fees when they are purchasing a product from you in the first place. Does anyone else agree? Why would I purchase a ringtone from verison when I am going to billed for the ringtone along with the data fees associated with downlaoding it? The same with ringback tones, why would you pay for it, then charge a yearly fee to keep it? It makes no sense other than Verizon is forcing...

why? because of the bottom line

business isn't always fair

for your part, you can try calling until someone credits you but next time you browse ringtones, the charge will show up again
...
