Who cares? You will get a dumbed down crippled phones. I doubt seriously Nokia will make the N82 or N95 for Verizon. Those are the only phones worth owning. Why would they purposely dump the Symbian Open System for Verizon's GUI, Why would they dump their open file transfer on their best phones, Free GPS without network support? Not gonna happen on Verizon who has their hand in your pocket everytime you want to transfer a ringtone or picture.?

Why would Nokia want to waste their technology on a Carrier that will not ...

I thought the S60 phones were considered smart phones? Verizon hasn't changed the plam or windows mobile interfaces. some even support file transfer. You should really try and be more positive, unless your not a verizon customer and are just trying to downplay that Verizon is finally getting some good phones.

Also has WiFi and real GPS not just maps. not to mention all the other features the Nokia N s...

Yes, there will be high end Nokia phones for Verizon, not the freakin free phones. There will be at least 2 Nokia touchscreen phones. Sony Ericcson is also prepping to return to CDMA before all Verizon phones switch to LTE.

There is no such thing as a Nokia high end phone for Verizon. Any high end phone would have to offer what Verizon won't allow. Although it may be priced like a high end phone You can bet it won't WORK like a high end phone should, nor have the native GUI a high end phone should, nor have fully implemented BT transfers like a high end phone should.

Verizon is a "Socialistic" carrier. Everyone gets the same GUI and they control everything. It's no wonder they chose Red ...

Technically a CDMA Nokia phone would only have to meet certain minimum network requiremetns to eb activated on Verizon's network. So it could be an "Unofficial" Verizon phone and not conform to all the verizon restrictions.
