Is the Q9M worth buying?
My brother had the regular Q9, and ended up hating it in the end. Apparently the battery life sucks, and a lot of the menus/functionality is laid out in hard-to-get-to/illogical ways.

That's a fair point. A lot of ppl end up not liking WM, and that can color your impression of a phone.
But by the same token, the crappy battery life doesn't seem to be Microsoft's fault. ☹️
