parents able to read texts online????

It's probably just a threat by her parents. I've never heard of this, becuase the texts are stored in the phone, not online.
This is true...it is not possible to do this...unless you email all of your text messages to your email address and give it to your parents. I would suggest you delete all your text messages when your done sending/reading them, just in case they look at your phone while your asleep.

my girlfriend is afraid that her parents can read her text messages on the internet...i guess they mentioned that they could to her...i have tmobile so i dont know if it's different but im almost positive that u cant read other people's texts...is it possible???

Yeah...you lose all your information when you get a new phone. That's much better.
Sorry..late response was off work đ¤Ŗ
With Verizon we have Data transfer machines that transfers your data from your old phone to your new phone. So NO YOU DON'T LOSE YOUR INFORMATION. Thanks for trying though đ
The thread you replied to was in response to someone taking the sim card out of your phone and putting it in another to see the information. If you lock your Verizon phone there isn't a sim card you can take out of it to get the info.

It just doesn't have the same ring though...maybe we'll have to invent a new short hand language designed solely for the purpose of text messaging.
