i think the key phrase there is that you will not install a repeater for example. they have a 3rd party company that does offer equipment like that so i am assuming they want you to go thru them

I think the reason they don't want you to install a repeater is beause it messes with the surrounding network. A couple years ago we had a store that had one not set up by verizon and they made them take it down. The only way they would have even known is it i screwed something up somewhere.

THat being said vzw needs to come out with something for fringe areas for inside the house.
