Specs on signal strength

I need a Verizon phone with the best signal strength possible for in the mountains of Tennessee. What should I be looking at on the spec sheets to see which phone is better than the other? Any help would be great, thanks.

Where on the box can I look to compare other phones to see what has the best strength?

It isnt something displayed anywhere. There is no rating system for how well a phone functions and the manufacturers wont let the carriers make one.

I do RF design for transceivers (radios) in base stations and cellphones. You would need some type of information about the receive sensitivity in dBm as well as the phones ability to handle blocking signals and interferers. You might scour the web for FCC testing or other documents that show this information but it will probably be hard to find as companies want to hide this from the general public. Another challenge is that any given phone will have some variation from phone to phone. Sorry, but probably not the answer you wanted to hear.
