All cell phone batteries are terrible. I always buy the extended battery with every phone I purchase as well as a car charger. Unfortunately cell phone battery technology has not kept up with the evoloution of the cell phones themselves.

Maybe for CDMA folks, because I get great battery life on my sony ericsson GSM phones. I do remember that when I had verizon my phone's battery wouldn't make it by the time I'd get home from work.

Cell phone battery technology does not keep up with the cell phones because the cell phones keep getting smaller and smaller, or thinner. I buy the extended batter also on all my phones, and that makes a huge difference, but most people dont want a thicker phone. a lot of times for me, the thicker phone makes it easier to hold on to.

My guess on the voyager, if it is anything like the venus, battery life will be short. I bought the extended battery for the venus, night and day difference. It all depends on how much you use your phone.

I have the voyager. The battery life is not that bad,i can get 2 days of talking, txt, sending pix,and internet.(i talk alot)

When i got the phone it came with 2 books. there was some tips for saving the life of the battery and they did help alot.

I did not get the extended battery like everyone said to do.I wanted to see how bad it really was first.I still don't have the extended battery and dont need it.

I hope this is helpful to you! have a good one

OK. So what are the tips. My book got tossed and the 'extended' battery isn't even lasting me 36 hours on standby.

Do not forget, a big factor in battery life is where you use your phone most. If you are in a weak signal area, your battery will die quicker as the phone is working harder to keep the signal.
